Susan Hares
Susan Hares has designed and deployed routing protocols and architectures for almost 30 years. She is currently co-chair of the IETF Inter-Domain Routing Group (IDR), and a co-author on the BGP specification. Susan is recognized as one of the top experts in routing. She’s been considered Michigan’s Top Woman in Computing (2004), and a Cisco’s leader for women in computing (2002-2003). Susan was selected as the 2011 Outstanding Alumnus of the Year for Regent University's School of Global Leadership & Entrepreneurship. Susan earned a Bachelor of Science in Computer Engineering from University of Michigan (1977), a Masters of Organizational Leadership from Regent University (2008), a Masters of Divinity from Asbury Theological Seminary (2010), and a PhD in Organizational Leadership from Regent University (2022)
